We arrived and were met by a lovely, charming Italian family who live next door. Cristian was a very good host and was able to give us lots of information about the locality.
The house is spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It has a well equipped kitchen and a really large living/dinning room for family meals. There is a good sized garden, but for our stay at Easter it was too early to make full use of the outside area. The view from the house across the town and the sea is stunning.
The pleasant walk into town took 10 minutes but fifteen minutes when walking back up hill. Take a torch for dark evenings. Tropea is a fantastic town. It has many shops, cafes and restaurants. The people are very friendly and welcoming.
The daily food market was great. Tropea has some of the best beaches we have ever visited.Recommended for: Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
