(Property Holiday 02) We have just spent a week in this lovely little villa nestled above the seaside town of Tropea. The villa is cosy and comfortable, ideal for two people, with a generous lounge/dining area,plenty of space in the double bedroom and a compact, but very adequate bathroom.
A bonus for us was having a washing machine. There is a rooftop terrace with fantastic views to the sea, but there are also lovely views from the garden which guests are encouraged to use. There are a number of sun lounges, an outdoor table setting and a BBQ. We had the most glorious weather, and promptly scrapped plans to drive to outlying destinations, instead choosing to walk into town daily, sometimes twice, to dine in the many wonderful little restaurants, enjoy granitas and gelatis, and explore the beaches, alleys and seaside walks.
The walk into town takes about 15minutes, the walk home is uphill but helped us to work off the calories from the wonderful meals!! Cristian and Anna were wonderful hosts. Living in the house next door they were always available to assist or answer queries but were not at all intrusive. They are friendly and approachable and went to great lengths to help rectify a personal difficulty which could have affected my ongoing holiday in Italy. Above and beyond my expectations. Perfect hosts. Perfect place to stay.
